Foreign research student

This division accepts foreign researchers who focus on a specific field that has been professionally studied by our professors. The enrollment and tuition fees of these international researchers are lower than those of other graduate students. International researchers may obtain student visas to perform research activities in Japan. We offer them an opportunity to experience our specialized research activities before enrollment. The following summarizes the application and admission procedures. The application period and detailed information are described in admission requirements (please see the admission requirements of the academic year you want to apply).

Qualifications

  4. Persons who were enrolled at our university for more than 3 years and obtained superior results of pre-determined credits in this department.
  5. Persons who have an ability equal to or higher than the ability described above based on the judgment of this department (requiring preliminary examination, described in the application process 3)

Study period

  • Students who wish to request an extension must submit the study period extension form for international students (appended form) 4 weeks before the completion of the study period.
